Twatter Rankings: Week 11

Coffee Time
by Carl Coffee

1. Whiteford Wicked Aces   (14-6, Pow#R: 16.6)
Aces play against two teams fighting for a playoff spot. No Austin vs. the Onanism, so I predict a 3-1 week for them.
2. El Diablos   (17-7, Pow#R: 17.5)
My sources informed me that Wags will be in Wyandotte this week for the Fighting Chickens. I'll believe it when I see it
3. Belgian Wiffles   (17-9, Pow#R: 14.8)
Belgian found their #2 pitcher at just the right time. Could still win the Gar#sya, but need a lot of help.
4. King Friday   (12-10, Pow#R: 8.2)
The King Dads play great at Lincoln Park, and once again they play four there. At minimum they must go 2-2 this week.
5. Flying Squirrels   (15-11, Pow#R: 1.3)
The Squeaks play their biggest regular season series in franchise history. Need a split to help their playoff chances.
6. Westside Warriors   (13-11, Pow#R: 3.8)
Now this is exciting playoff race wiffle! The WW went 2-2 this week, and they didn’t even have to put on eye black!
7. Oakland County Onanism   (11-11, Pow#R: -2.9)
The Jizz will have their stud 1-2 pitching punch Sunday evening at Whiteford. Really need a sweep but will take a split.
8. Holy Balls   (8-16, Pow#R: -16.9)
It’s still not in stone, but will the Balls tank for a better draft pick? Tough last week, but they should win 1 or 2.
9. Wolfpack   (8-16, Pow#R: -14.3)
The Brannan Brother's numbers are only going to get better this week vs. the Isles, but does anyone care?
10. Islanders   (2-21, Pow#R: -28.5)
If Villarreal is able to attend this week against the Wolfpack, a split wouldn't be surprising.
What is Pow#R?
The power number rating (Pow#R) is a mathematical formula using a team's weighted wins (wW) -- Σ(# of wins vs. opponent * (1 + opponents wining %)] --, weighted losses (wL) -- Σ(# of losses vs. opponent * (2 - opponents winning %) --, record over the last five (L5) games, and run differential (DIFF) divided by games played (GP). The equation looks like this:    Pow#R = (wW - wL) + (L5) + (DIFF/GP)

Twatter Rankings: Week 10

Coffee Time

1. Whiteford Wicked Aces   (14-6, Pow#R: 16.6)  1
Just like that, the Aces are in the Ringler Division driver's seat. Home field throughout will now be their goal.
2. El Diablos   (17-7, Pow#R: 17.4)  1
#wagswatch will be a popular hash tag for the Fighting Chickens. Four games remaining and he has to appear in two.
3. Belgian Wiffles   (15-9, Pow#R: 10.1)  1
It appears Belgian has their #2 pitcher down the stretch with Strojny. The #3 seed is theirs to lose.
4. King Friday   (12-10, Pow#R: 8.2)  2
Castle and crew just don't lose at home. An off week then four games at home Week 12 has to put them as a wildcard fav.
5. Flying Squirrels   (13-11, Pow#R: -0.7)  2
The bats stayed home against KF, but they are still in the driver's seat for a wildcard spot. Tough schedule tho.
6. Westside Warriors   (11-9, Pow#R: 1.7)  1
Warriors scheduled four games for the Holiday weekend, if they can walk away going 2-2 they are still in good shape.
7. Oakland County Onanism   (11-11, Pow#R: -2.9)
A 1-3 road trip doesn't end their playoff hopes, but it sure does hurt them. Need to at least split with the Aces Week 12.
8. Holy Balls   (8-14, Pow#R: -12.2)
If only Dennis pitched drunk earlier in the season, they would be a playoff contender. Played the WA tough, but no dice.
9. Wolfpack   (8-16, Pow#R: -14.3)
The Pack are playing the spoiler role well as they took a game against a weak Diablos team. They finally have an off week.
10. Islanders   (2-18, Pow#R: -28.5)
Isles almost took 2 games this week, but have to be happy with how they closed out their home finale. Walkoff @AlexLinebrink

Twatter Rankings: Week 9

Coffee Time
by Carl Coffee

1. El Diablos   (16-6, Pow#R: 19.7)
Blos are in control for homefield advantage in the playoffs. Their only focus now should be getting Wags two more games.
2. Whiteford Wicked Aces   (10-6, Pow#R: 11.1)
Crozier is now gone for the season, but don't worry yet. They have all home games left, they are still the Ringler favs.
3. Flying Squirrels   (13-9, Pow#R: 6.6)
The Squeaks have the best 1-2 punch on the mound that no one is talking about. Dobes McGobes and Brandon D FTW.
4. Belgian Wiffles   (13-9, Pow#R: 7.1)
Belgian really needed to sweep the Wolfpack over the weekend to stay in control of that top wildcard spot/#3 seed.
5. Westside Warriors   (9-5, Pow#R: 10.7)  1
The Warriors will play their second 6 game week, but this time it's without Bortmas. If they go 3-3, Shore should be happy.
6. King Friday   (8-10, Pow#R: -3.9)  2
Last week they played 2 must win games, and this week they play 2 must win games. Fun team to watch, they don't quit.
7. Oakland County Onanism   (10-8, Pow#R: 4.6)
The forgotten team returns to action this week as they travel to Detroit and Lincoln Park. Going just 3-1 would be huge.
8. Holy Balls   (8-12, Pow#R: -7.4)  3
Today is the trade deadline and it doesn't look like they will be sellers. Will need to finish ~7-1 to have a chance.
9. Wolfpack   (7-15, Pow#R: -16.9)
The Pack played Belgian tough all four games this season. Where is that fight against other teams?
10. Islanders   (2-16, Pow#R: -28.0)
The Black and White Buccaneers finish off their home games this week vs OCO and Warriors. I hope they can steal one game.
